Work Order and Dispatch Updates

• The Schedule Time now displays next to the Schedule Date on the Work Order and Dispatch Card.  

• Warranty Information of the Equipment record can now be displayed in the Work Order Page. 

  • A new shield icon displays in the upper right hand corner of the Equipment Section on the Work Order Page.  This will display Warranty Information from the Warranty Tab on the Equipment Record.  

• When choosing a Section to add in the Comments of the Work Order Page it will now copy the Section, Repair Code and Comments of the Repair Code into the Comments section and not overlay any existing comments.  

• A message will warn the user if the Hours are changed to a value that exceeds the number of hours allowed.  

  • This setting is on the Company Record in Softbase 3.0 and Evolution.  

• For Softbase Evolution users, the Add WO button has been relabeled to Add. Work.  

  • When the user chooses that button they will be able to choose whether to open up an Open Work Order or an Open Quote.  

  • This can be controlled by a new permission in the Roles page in Softbase Evolution under the Technician -> Invoicing Functions Page called "Open Quote Only".  If this is turned on they will only be able to open a Quote and not a Work Order.  

  • If the user does open an Open Work Order it will also be dispatched to them automatically and allow them to work on it.  
    
    

Recap Document Updates

• Labor Records can not be excluded from the Recap Document by turning off the option to print labor records in the Softbase 3.0 and Evolution Company record.  

• Comments entered on the Work Order page now retain their formatting when displaying on the Recap Document.  

• The Recap Document will now display all labor records correctly if they are included on the document.  

General Updates

• When viewing time cards the ending date now takes into account the entire day to determine what labor records to display.  

• When choosing to email from the Multi Signature Page the email addresses are now gathered and displayed only once per email address and type of email address showing up.  

• The Work Order and Customer Number will now display on Labor Entries in the Time Card search results.
