Toyota – No Auto Dash Security Functionality (on the Parts Tab of the Security Window)
- When the above security is set to checked, when you type a Part in the Part Number field on the Parts Window or the Part Number field in the Parts Tab on the Invoicing Window without a Dash that is found on the Parts Price File (Regardless of the supplier from the Price File) and you choose the Price Disk it will fill in the details of the part and not add the dashes in the Part Number
o The tooltip will show the part number from the Price File with dashes in it.
- When the above security is not checked when you type in a Part in the Part Number field on the Part Window or the Part Number field in the Parts Tab on the Invoicing Window without a Dash that is found on the Parts Price File based on if it is found as a Toyota Supplier vs. a Non-Toyota Supplier it will function differently
o If it is found as a Toyota Supplier, it will automatically add the dashes in it.
o If it is found as a non-Toyota Supplier it will not automatically add the dashes in it but when you click on the Price Disk, it will add the dashes in it.
