Enhancements 

Journal Entry

  • Enhanced the Import Journal Detail function to be faster and more stable, avoiding time-out errors for large imports. 

Sale Code

  • A new parameter: PS Account has been added to the Sale Code Setup page that is used for PeopleSoft Integrations.

  • The setup page has been reorganized by Group for better visualization of the different settings that are handled in the page: Parts SetupLabor SetupMisc SetupRental SetupEquipment Setup, and Other Setup.

Purchase Order

  • The PO Send modal has been updated to look at the SMTP by Branch logic when the Company is set that way.. The assigned Branch in the purchase order will be the one to look at the configurations for the SMTP information to send Emails. For cases it is not set up, then the system will read from the Company setup. 

Invoicing

  • Work Order additional labor charges now correctly post to the designated Add'l Sale Account configured in the Department setup.

  • Users can now manually provide PeopleSoft Override information for a document. The new option is located under the File menu within the Gear option when a Work order is pulled up. All provided data is required if the Capitalized checkbox is checked.

  • The Reference Number prompted in the Invoice process has been updated to consider the Avalara Address Verification modal when Avalara is set as Tax provider.

WIP

  • The Reference Number prompted in the Invoice process has been updated to consider the Avalara Address Verification modal when Avalara is set as Tax provider.

  • The Single and Bulk processes for rental orders have been enhanced to prompt the user with the Avalara Address Verification if the Ship To provided in the order was not previously verified.

Dispatch

  • The Not Dispatched tab has been enhanced with two new properties: Dispatch Priority and Dispatch Status. This will allow users to set those values for work orders within that tab.

  • Call and Schedule date pickers have been changed to a single field to control not only date but time.

Equipment

  • Three new Unit Types have been added as part of the Equipment and Model setup: Dock Door, Dock Leveler and Other. Each of them will have its own parameters under the Specs tab.

  • Users will have the ability to set up specifications for Dock Door and Dock Leveler in the Model setup, so they can be used to auto pull up specifications in new unit creation.

  • The filter Unit Type in the Advanced Equipment Search modal has been updated with the three new unit types. This will allow users to filter out the list based on Dock Door, Dock Leveler and Other.

AR Statement

  • The AR Statement page has been reorganized for better visualization of the new filters by branches.

  • Users have the ability to filter the statement by one or more branches.

  • The Branch for Logo filter will be used to print the logo in the statement based on the selected branch.

  • The Branch for Email filter will be used for sending the statement following the SMTP configuration set on the selected Branch. In case it is not set up, then the system will read from the Company setup.

  • Some formatting updates have been done to avoid wrapping logic for the Type values and better alignments on the columns Date, Invoice #, Reference and Due Date.

Automated AR Statement

  • The Automated AR Statement setup has been reorganized for better visualization of the new filters by branches.

  • Users have the ability to set up Automated Statements by one or more Branches.

  • The Branch for Logo filter will be used to print the logo in the statement based on the selected branch.

  • The Branch for Email filter will be used for sending the statement following the SMTP configuration set on the selected Branch. In case it is not set up, then the system will read from the Company setup.

  • Moreover, users can decide whether to include the Invoice attachment in the email.

  • The rule run behind to gather the Customers that match the Automated Statement setup has been updated to consider the Branch or Branches selected in the filter.

  • The Log File generated at the end of the execution has been updated to consider the new filter by branch logic.

  • Some formatting updates have been done to avoid wrapping logic for the Type values and better alignments on the columns Date, Invoice #, Reference and Due Date.

Reports

  • The AR Aging - Detail Export reports have been enhanced with a new parameter that allows users to choose whether to include Invoice Comments in the report output. Additionally, the CSV and Excel export formats have been updated to include this information when selected.

  • The AP Check Payments by Date Range report has been added into Evolution within the AP group.

  • The Equipment Asset Value Report within the Equipment group has been updated to provide better visualization of the data exported in CSV and Excel format. The Book Value label was changed to GL Cost as well.  

  • The AR Aging - Detail By Salesperson report within the AR group has been updated with below details:

    • The printed date matches the To Date specified in the report.

    • The Aging bucket for 120+ reflects the correct Invoices now.

    • Age value is now a whole number not a decimal.

    • CSV and Excel exported files to be aligned with the preview of the report.

  • The Equipment Sold Report within the Equipment group has been updated to not consider transferred items.




Issues Resolved 

Dashboard

  • The Sales Amount by Branch and Department chart displays the Sale information for the Current Month correctly.  

Vendor

  • The Private Comments parameter in the Vendor Setup page has been reverted to its original design to maintain consistency with previous version.

Invoicing

  • A concurrency issue users were facing when invoicing a document or using the Refresh function beside the Ship To customer using Avalara as Tax Provider has been solved.

  • The Labor Rate is now properly set when importing Travel Time.

  • The Associated Doc # value is now linked to the Work order created when running the Quote To Order and Quote To Existing Orders functions using Avalara as Tax Provider.

WIP

  • Solved an issue in the Invoice function when running rental cycle billings using Avalara as Tax Provider.

GL Inquiry

  • Solved an issue where the Balance Amount was not returning accurately.

Dispatch

  • The Dispatch Priority remains on the Work Order when modifying the related work order in the Invoicing submodule.

  • Work orders have the correct color thresholding on the rows in the Dispatched tab when BO Parts tied to it have been received.

Reports

  • The Sales By Department (Date Range) report within the Sales group has been updated to calculate the totals properly based on the date range provided.
